Websites and web applications, designed and engineered by one developer.

Seven kinds of work I take on, from a business website to a full-stack application with AI. Each one below says who it helps, what it usually includes, what I'll need from you and the real projects that show it. Every project is scoped with you and quoted in writing.

Premium business websites and redesigns

A clear, fast website that explains what your business does, looks considered on every screen and makes it easy for the right people to get in touch.

Discuss this project: Premium business websites and redesigns

Scoped with you and quoted in writing.

Who it helps
Companies, consultancies, clinics, schools, restaurants and professionals who need a credible online presence, or a redesign of a site that no longer represents them.

  • Logo, brand colours and any photography you own
  • The pages you need, and the content for them (I can help shape it)
  • Access to your domain and current hosting, for a redesign
How it runs
We agree the pages and their content first, then I design the key screens, build the site in reviewable stages and launch it on your domain.
You receive
  • Designed and built website
  • Source code in your repository
  • Deployment to your hosting
  • Handover notes for editing content
Can connect to
  • Google Analytics or privacy-friendly analytics

E-commerce experiences

An online store with product pages that do your products justice, from catalogue and search to cart and checkout, with prices the server always decides.

Discuss this project: E-commerce experiences

Scoped with you and quoted in writing.

Who it helps
Brands and small businesses selling physical or digital products who want their own storefront rather than only a marketplace listing.
Usually included
  • Product catalogue with categories, search and filters
  • Exact product variants (size, colour, finish) with their own stock
  • Cart and checkout flow

  • Mobile-first product pages
What you'll provide
  • Your products: names, descriptions, variants, prices and photographs
  • Your payment provider account (I integrate it in test mode first)
  • Shipping, returns and tax rules for your region
How it runs
We model your catalogue and checkout rules first, then design the product and checkout pages, build against your payment provider's test mode, and go live once you've placed test orders yourself.
You receive
  • Storefront and admin views
  • Payment provider integration in test mode, then live once your account is approved
  • Source code and deployment
  • Guide for managing products and orders
Can connect to
  • Payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay or Stripe, depending on your region)
  • Shipping and invoicing tools
  • Email order confirmations
  • Hosted commerce platforms where they fit better than custom code

Booking and scheduling systems

Online booking that shows real availability, confirms appointments or tables, and handles changes, so you spend less time on calls and messages.

Discuss this project: Booking and scheduling systems

Scoped with you and quoted in writing.

Who it helps
Clinics, salons, studios, tutors, consultants, restaurants and venues that schedule appointments, sessions or tables.

  • A staff view of upcoming bookings
What you'll provide
  • Your services or table layout, with durations
  • Who works when, and which rooms or resources each booking needs
  • Your cancellation and rescheduling rules
How it runs

You receive
  • Booking flow and staff dashboard
  • Notification templates
  • Source code and deployment
  • Handover documentation
Can connect to
  • Email and WhatsApp notifications

Business dashboards and SaaS applications

Internal tools and multi-user applications that bring scattered spreadsheets, forms and messages into one place your team actually uses, with access rules that hold.

Discuss this project: Business dashboards and SaaS applications

Scoped with you and quoted in writing.

  • Searchable, filterable records
  • Pipelines and status tracking
  • Charts that say where each figure comes from
  • An audit trail of important changes
What you'll provide
  • How your team works today, and the spreadsheets or tools involved
  • Who should see and change what
  • Sample data (anonymised is fine) to design and test against
How it runs
We map your workflow and permissions first, then I design the main screens, build the database and access rules with tests, and import your existing data before your team starts using it.
You receive
  • Web dashboard
  • Database and API
  • Data import from existing spreadsheets
  • Source code, deployment and documentation
Can connect to
  • Website forms and lead sources
  • Email and WhatsApp follow-ups

Full-stack web development

Complete web applications: accounts, a database, an API and the interface, built to be maintained, including learning platforms, portals and member areas.

Discuss this project: Full-stack web development

Scoped with you and quoted in writing.

Who it helps
Founders, educators and organisations who need a working product, not just a website, and want one developer responsible for it end to end.
Usually included
  • User accounts and dashboards
  • A database with access rules for each user
  • APIs that validate every request
  • Admin tools for content and users
  • Automated tests for the core workflows
What you'll provide
  • The problem the product solves and who uses it
  • The workflows that matter most at launch
  • Any existing content, data or systems it must work with
How it runs
We agree the first version's scope, then I design the core screens, build in milestones you can try on a private link, and hand over the code, the database and documentation.
You receive
  • Web application and admin tools
  • Database schema with access rules
  • Automated tests for core workflows
  • Deployment and handover
Can connect to
  • Payments for access or subscriptions
  • Email notifications

AI-enabled integrations and workflows

Practical AI features that solve a specific problem, such as assistants, document workflows and retrieval, designed with fallbacks and limits so they stay dependable.

Discuss this project: AI-enabled integrations and workflows

Scoped with you and quoted in writing.

Who it helps
Businesses and products that want AI to answer questions, process documents or assist a workflow, not just decorate a page.
Usually included
  • Assistants grounded in your own content
  • Document and form processing
  • Structured output validated before use
  • Provider fallback and timeouts
  • Usage limits and logging without sensitive data
What you'll provide
  • The task the AI should help with, and examples of good answers
  • The documents or data it should draw on
  • An account with the AI provider you choose (usage is billed to it)
How it runs
We define what a good answer looks like first, with examples. Then I build the feature with its sources, limits and fallbacks, and check it against those examples before it reaches your users.
You receive
  • AI feature integrated into your app or a standalone tool
  • Prompt and evaluation notes
  • Cost and reliability considerations documented
  • Source code and deployment
Can connect to
  • LLM providers (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenAI-compatible APIs)
  • Your databases and documents
  • Existing websites and dashboards

How we'd work together

Six stages, from a first conversation to launch. Every project is quoted in writing after we've discussed requirements, and not every project needs each stage in the same depth.

  1. Discover

You tell me about the project through the enquiry form or email. We talk through your goals, your users and what must work on day one.

  2. Scope

I send a written scope, quotation and proposed timeline. Nothing starts until you've read and accepted it.

  3. Design

I design the key screens and flows, and we adjust them together before building.

  4. Build

I build in agreed milestones, each on a private link you can try, with tests for the rules your project depends on.

  5. Review

You review the finished work on its private link and request changes within the agreed scope.

  6. Launch

I deploy to your domain and hand over the code, access and documentation. Ongoing support, if you want it, is agreed separately.

Clear before we start

Priced in writing
Every project is quoted in writing after we've discussed requirements. There are no fixed packages, and nothing starts until you've accepted the scope.
Features are examples
The lists above help you think about scope. Your project includes what we agree in the written scope, not everything listed here.
Yours at the end
The source code goes in your repository and the work runs on your hosting and accounts, with documentation to hand over.
Honest about fit
If a hosted platform would serve you better than custom code, I'll say so before we start.
